Franco Pontoglio

DJ, collectors and connoisseur of Funky Soul, Disco, Rock and Progressive music from the '60s and '70s.

He started in 1975 as a DJ in the Panda discoteque in D.C. and then in the PaloAlto D.C. discoclub.

In addition to disco, he also tries his hand at radio, starting with RPA in 1976, subsequently with FREE Radio Lombardia and then moving on to Radio Lago 1, always with disco music and world news Funky Soul Disco.

For years he has been researching stories, anecdotes and curiosities of the musical world with explanations of the genesis of the names of the singers, groups and the titles of the songs because 'as Piero Tarantola says... behind every song there is a story.
